Riverbend Renewal is a new nonprofit taking its first steps toward protecting the historic character of Alton and the surrounding Riverbend area.

Our mission is to educate the community, build connections, identify and advocate for at-risk residential properties that tell the story of our city’s past.

By partnering with individuals, municipalities, and local organizations, we aim to protect, preserve, and ultimately restore historic residential homes — strengthening neighborhoods for generations to come.
